Tracing down my rattle and came across this: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...16130-9999.pdf this could explain why the noise goes away when moved a few clicks forward.

I will place some Velcro on that area and report back.

I believe this thread is regarding the full size Discovery, not the sport, so not sure that nhtsa item is relevant as the parts are not shared between models.

This was meant as another resource to point towards a possible cause not to use the actual recall.

However there is a lot of overlap between those two models. I am in a full size, I practically took the whole car apart at this point 🤣. It feels like they took all spare parts from the 2015 sport and made the 2017 Disco.
