Went the same way here recently. Purchased Proud Rhino 1.5" lift rods, but saving them for true offroad trips to swap out quickly. Fit 275/55/20 Duratracs to RRS wheels. Fit on stock suspension no problem/no rubbing. Overland build-up has officially started now!
Is there any trick to adjust the pressure values expected by the TPMS?
My OEM wheels were 21” and now, when I swapped to 20”, I used the tire pressure calculator to find the right values, I should pump. These are lower than with the OEM wheels (hence bigger tire volume) and just below the TPMS warning thresholds, so I get a yellow warning light on the dashboard. Is there any known workaround?

Hi, I am planning to swap my factory wheels and tires with 32 inch or 33 inch tires on my 2017 Discovery HSE Lux TD6(Diesel). I am a bit concerned if bigger tires will heat up the transmission and damage it eventually. I see lot of members in this group have installed 32's and 33's. How does Dico Diesel handle bigger wheels and tires, any issues with drivetrain after running them for a while?
There's only a 6% difference between stock and 33. Just drive your car 6% slower. I love mine. I would recommend a 2" lift in front and a 1.5 lift in back for the purpose of looks.
If you're on the fence just do 32s, but I'd keep my 33s if i was doing it over. Get RRS SC wheels in black, they look amazing and are only $1k a set new on ebay.
Note in my pictures I have a 20mm spacer in the rear only, but I'd prefer 15mm, no one made them last time I checked. I have a 2" rod lift on in these pics.
Highway mileage dropped from 30 to 26 mpg, city mileage stayed the same at 22-24. This is with a 4 ply tire. 8 or 10ply would probably crush you.

I would like to know if you ran into any long term issue running 33inch tires on Discovery. I am planning to upgrade mine in next few weeks, I saw someone installing transmission cooler on Defender with 33 inch tires to keep it cool. Wondering if D5 needs transmission coolers as well if I upgrade to 33's. Appreciate your input.
Sorry for bringing an old thread back to life. General question... I'm about to upgrade to LT275/55/20 Falken Wildpeak AT3W with a load rating of "D". I'm coming from 275/55/20 Cooper Endurance Plus' in XL load rating. Those came on the car when I purchased and have come to the end of their life. I'm wondering for those of you who have made the jump from XL to an LT tire like the BFG KO2's, did you notice a major difference in how the car drove? Did it feel sloppy? Heavier? Would love general feedback. Thanks!
