Bad diesel symptoms?

Default Bad diesel symptoms?

i'm having hesitation in high rpm could this be from bad diesel?

It could be. It could be a lot of things. Bio, winter, bad diesel.... clogged fuel filter if issue up high in rpm. It could be something with nothing to do with fuel quality too. No CEL?

sitrep it went away after a new tank of gas. And yea no cel. Just a pending particulate filter cel which further pointed to bad diesel. I got it in Amarillo. B19

High RPM on a diesel for a period of time could also be attributed to passive regeneration to clean-up the DPF. How high was the the RPM and how many miles on the odometer?

36k and 3-4k rpm felt like it cut out after a certain Pedal %.

it will roll past 4k no issues at 40% pedal but 60%+ cut off. ill do a log next time with the Gap IID tool if does it again.
