Default Clunk noise when shifting form D to R

Hi,

I noticed recently a clunk noise when shifting from D to R or the opposite it happens every time i shift between them, and sometimes when the gear changes at low speeds.

I lifted the car in the shop and checked underneath while charging the gear, i noticed nothing.

* the transmission shifting is smooth

model: Discovery 2018 HSE
mileage: 59k (95,000km)

any thoughts? 🤔

Semi hard one to diagnose.

We have found it’s the CV of one of the axles.

try to locate the corner, shift and see if you can get eyes on it clunking/popping.
