D5 gearbox fault warning when raining
I have a 2004 D2 that I’m pretty familiar withand just bought a used 2018 with the 2L turbo gas/petrol just over 66k miles.
Have had a gearbox fault warning pop-up a couple times while driving through heavy rain need me to believe there must be some water ingress in a connector or sensor. No other indicator of an issue as far as driving or shifting goes it’s super smooth.
We don’t have a Land Rover dealer on this island so I’m the only one that can work on and try to fix this thing.
Are there any known connectors that need Cleaning or dielectric grease?
Also, what’s the most affordable scanner that will work with this newer rig?
Mahalo for any help!
