Just for peace of mind, I looked it up the Walmart SuperTech DEF fluid and it confirms to ISO 22241. You're right, all good.

It is on the left side. Right side is windshield washer fluid.

Ok, I just had a mild panic attack because I put a gallon of DEF into the reservoir on the RIGHT side. When I read left, I brought up this video
and really started to panic.
I actually ran out to my garage to make sure I hadn't absentmindedly filled the washer fluid with DEF, but confirmed the DEF fill location is most definitely on the right side edge of the engine bay. *phew*

When spotting and referencing a side on a vehicle I find it more definitive to stata driver or passenger side, as left or right can depend if someone thinks about standing in front or sitting in the driver seat.

But then again it is a British vehicle and the steering wheel may be on thr wrong side anyway

Ha, so true. I still think of right/left as I am sitting the vehicle, not from viewing with the hood up.

For most things I'd agree, but for locations of things in the engine bay it makes more sense to use the only orientation one would be in when they were looking into the engine bay. If I'm looking into my master bedroom, I'd say the bathroom is to the left because anybody entering the room would be in that orientation ...even though it's technically on the right side of the house when the house is viewed from the front.

It does remind me of parking a trailer though. When parking a trailer, my wife and I only user driver/passenger side because left/right can get pretty fuzzy depending on how somebody is standing. That was probably the best piece of trailer-parking advice I've gotten and I still laugh when I'm in camp and hear somebody parking nearby and screaming "Your OTHER LEFT!!".
