On mine it does follow something along these lines but it's not consistent
But yes - in park, unbuckle driver seatbelt (and I think foot off foot brake too) then it shuts down

Really not a big deal - if you want it running just press to start it up

I played with it some and have been paying attention now... it doesn't seem consistent at all... it isn't a problem im that worried about... except my **** retentive side just wants to knkw what mames things tick.

Have a new gremlin. Keep getting instructed to turn here to go home message on the driver's display. Nav is not on. MUTED the vocal but still get the display message.

Still have P2002 which I am also thinking is purely electronic gremlin. It runs fine except for mpgs have dropped about 2.5. Have had this off/on for 5 months. Dealer is clueless.

Depending upon where you live the gasoline mixture might change at this time of year. In Colorado we have increased ethanol or MTBE for the colder months which significantly decreases MPG.

Yeah, winter diesel too. But this has been going on for [now] 6 months. Could have been tail end of winter diesel last spring but have been on summer diesel since.

So, this bug just required starting NAV up to just go anywhere, then stop it, and it was gone. No idea?

Now have a new one. Twice now the radio has kept playing after the wife gets home. Open the "passenger door" and it finally stops. Drivers' door makes no difference. Drivers door sensor problem? No idea?

Still have P2002. Dealer seems clueless [again].

My radio will shut off when either driver or passenger door opens after engine is shut down.
