Default Extractor vs oil drain for TD6

Has anyone actually compared to see if the drain plug actually drains out more oil than extracting it because they seem to be at the same level if anything the siphon might even be lower, has anyone noticed a difference since I just invested in a mityvac and am trying to reduce going under the car and dropping the skid.

From all that I have read and watched on YouTube. Its only a tiny difference.

I'm just old school and like to look and inspect everything underneath. ( maybe I'm weird, LOL)

I use an extractor. When I refill the amount it calls for, the oil level is always good, so I'm satisfied. Easiest oil changes I've ever done! However, the skid plate was very easy to remove/replace when I did trans/diff fluid changes.
