Default Heating Left Side front not working

Hi all,

I just recently received my used Disco 5. It is a MY2018 with 3.0TD6 and HSE. As always when buying used cars, there's something to fix and not working;-)

In this case the driver's side (means LHD) does not heat properly. Means cold air for the driver (Top/Middle/Bottom Vent). Very nice, especially in German Winter when you want to defog the windscreen;-) I played around with the HVAC System and found out, when I set the driver's side to 27Celsius and Passanger to 16Celsius, the heating system starts to work on the driver side as well. Setting to HI for both sides doesn't work, only if I adjust the maximum difference between driver/passenger side. From then on, the HVAC heats also the driver's side. Strange, isn't it?

I got me the GAP IID Tool and already calibrated the HVAC 3 times but didn't fix the problem. There are not faults in the HVAC Ecu.

Is this a common problem? Someone had similar issues? Any advice is welcome, guy...;-)

BTW: I don't have 3rd row. Hence nor 3rd row heating but for the 2nd row.

Thank you in advance
Thomas

Found the problem.

It was the left foot duct temp sensor. GAP ID showed me that air temp is 80C despite cold air coming out. Sensor was only 11€ and now everything works as it should.
