Default Rear Lift gate controller

My lift gate doesn't function (go up or down) anymore. Completely unresponsive to any input; dash switch, tailgate switch or gesture. Doesn't matter if the car is running. The lift gate does unlatch though. The lift gate fuse is okay, so I think I have a module or wiring challenge. Anyone know where the lift gate controller is located or have the LR R&R instructions? A wiring diagram would be especially helpful as well.

Thanks!

This is not exactly what you need, but it is a piece of the puzzle.

"check the black wire for power" 😂

I found the controller and it's getting 12V. When I plugged it back in it beeped 3 times. Thought I might have got lucky but nothing. I held the inner gate close button and it also beeped 3 times again? Any ideas before I order another module? Also the module isn't secured very well. Might be a reason for failure and some rattles coming from the rear of the car.

Alright it's working again. After hooking up the GAP I read ECU info. The other "tailgate controller" in the LH load space area wasn't communicating. Took the floor apart, removed the connectors from the module and checked for 12v battery and it was good. Reconnected and ran the tailgate calibration, which is manually opening the lift gate holding the close button until it beeps, close gate manually them use key fob to open, then presto it works. Can't say for sure what fixed it either removing battery power or just cycling a loose connector/terminals. This module is also mounted poorly with plastic expanding rivets which makes it loose/rattle. Vibrating components can cause relative motion between male/female terminals, this is called fretting. Can cause terminals to essentially tarnish which leads to unreliable or open connections. Especially problematic in low power applications like CAN data busses. Problem is often fixed by cycling connectors which "wipes" terminals clean fixing connectivity problems. You can do better Land Rover.
