How often do you change a TD6 fuel filter?

I’m at 53k miles on my TD6 and starting to wonder when I should crawl under and swap that guy out.

Fuel filter is accessed from the top, not underneath. Also, it should be changed every other oil change. At 50K plus miles it should have been changed out at least twice.

I do mine every 15k miles. You should definitely do it with 53k on your car and then every 10-15k miles.

I change at 16K, every other oil change.

Default Part Number

I have a 2019 Discovery TD6. Do you happen know the part number for the fuel filter I'm trying to make sure i order the right one.

I do mine every 20K - maintenance schedule says every 32K. I use the Mahle filter from Rock Auto.

@Georgiastar12 You can purchase the Mahle filter from RockAuto.com: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...=6200&jsn=1728

The part number is MAHLE / CLEVITE KL1044

This one works just as well as the factory fuel filter. If you prefer OEM, the LR part number is LR041978, but is 2-3x the price of the MAHLE filter.
