Loved the car, but now facing a $35K TDV6 engine replacement—any advice?

Well quick update on this thread. Basically 10 months later and finally was able to get resolution to my issue. JLR USA ended up doing a "good will" replacement of the engine, turbo, EGR and full exhaust system after many months of back and forth. Car is finally home and running. Thanks for all the input through this journey.

Glad to hear JLR stepped up. Did they provide a formal reason for the initial failure?
