There isn't actually a camera underneath. It uses the front camera and delays the image by a few seconds and it accurately represents what's underneath you. They also use it for the "invisible hood." That is one of my favorite features on my Defender. Go to the off-road camera settings, and click on the top corner where you see the hood icon. This will activate the invisible hood.
