Question New Disco Owner - Questions 2019 HSE Lux TD6

Hello, new Disco owner up in Canada. I picked up a 2019 HSE Lux TD6 with 115,000km on it. I've come into this eyes wide open and understand the challenges. Owning questionable vehicles is something I'm familiar with. I've had a Ram Ecodiesel for a long time and absolutely love the truck and powerplant. Its run a simple EGR off tune for a long time and has been flawless for 225,000km, so I'm hoping the TD6 can be similar outside of the LR quirks.

Random questions in no particular order. I've spent some time searching the forums, but there is a lot of history and it doesn't always come up.

1. CD player. My unit plays DVDs just fine, but it will not recognize a CD. Having similar generation Q7 and X5, I loved the ability to rip my 25-30 yr old CD collection to the HD in the unit and play them. The manual states something about certain regions not being able to do the CD thing. Is this a feature I can unlock with something like GAP IID?

2. OBD scanner. GAP IID seems to be the gold standard. I like to do some of my own work. This seems to be the unit to get. The other one that comes up is the Launch 909E. I've used AlfaODB with my Ram for years and it has been fantastic, so I think GAP is the logical choice, but always willing to hear other opinions.

3. EGR tunes. Velocity and Tunezilla seems to offer tunes. The thread on the Velocity tunes is around a full delete. I'd like to know if anyone is running EGR tunes only. My Ram ED has been on a EOC tune for a long time and it is night and day on driveability. I'd like to consider the same on the TD6 and help keep the intake cleaned up. I like keeping the DPF/SCR intake to keep the smell/smoke at bay.

4. Rear Camera. I only have the backup camera and 360 PDC system. My backup camera is a single line for the hitch alignment. All the emergency detections work for cross traffic etc, but I can't seem to change to a double line setup. The buttons in the camera screen don't respond. I can only seem to zoom the camera in/out. I'm guessing this is a famous LR "feature" but just wanted to make sure I am not missing something in some hidden menu I haven't been able to find. If not, is there a way to reset things? Or will this be something I can poke around with a GAP IID setup?

5. Hitch mounted Moto Carrier - I usually pull a 6x12 enclosed for bikes, or haul dirtbikes in the box of the truck. I plan to grab a Moto-tote hitch carrier as they look the best and can handle an ADV bike the odd time I may put the 890 on the back. Any experience with these? I assume like my 4 corner air Ram the Disco will auto level the rear end under load?

Thanks!

2 - The GAP IID is the most full-featured tool. As far as I know, it is the only one that can edit the car config to enable or modify features.

4 - While you have the rear camera visible touch the gears to go to settings, then camera settings. You should have a hitch-assist toggle to turn off.

I wouldn't leave on a road trip without a Gap IID tool. I just cleared a check engine light while driving and later the engine started shuttering and would not accelerate. I cleared the faults. The engine started running normally again, and I made it home. Not sure I would have made it home without the tool. Also happened to me in October.
