Well, after less than 6 months on the LR3, I upgraded to a D5 Td6 HSE, 91k miles and excellent JLR record. So far very good. Little rougher than de LR3.

Nox Sensor replaced. Now I have the other 4 codes.
Drives very good. But a lot of smoke. Driving on highways eliminate the smoke temporary.

The TD6 should never smoke. If it's smoking then the DPF is probably cracked and letting raw exhaust through. This is backed up by the EGR efficiency code which probably means the EGR is clogged due to the DPF being broken and circulating unfiltered exhaust back into the intake.
