Passenger side brake light
Passenger side brake light stopped working - all other lights in unit are fine. I was then told that I had to replace the whole unit as the brake light is an integrated LED @£447.50 inc vat but no fitting!!!!!!!
I've sourced a second hand one from ebay but would appreciate any guidance on how to replace it, for reference it's not hte section in the back door, rather the rear wing.
Thanks in anticipation

Pull the trim cover and look inside. There's 2 nuts and a connector. Disconnect the cable then remove the nuts ensuring you don't drop them inside the panel. Switch out the light, test before re-assembly, then snug it all down - don't over tighten. Make sure you get the correct light cluster, there are many versions. I performed a test disassembly/refit so I could get the part number of the light.

Good idea. Me? I needed to see the actual part number as installed! Plus I wanted to do a dry run because sometimes things break and I didn't want to break the new light.
