Default Rear Seat Rattles

7 seater here. Experiencing some rattling noises coming from the back with the 3rd row seats folded down. Happens whenever going over bumps or changes in pavement. I did a quick diagnoses and think it's the 3rd row headrests in their folded position. Noise sounds like leather on leather and just sounds like something is loose. Anyone else notice this or figure out a way to secure the headrests when folded?

Haven't had that issue.

You may also check the second row seat belts. If the clasps are hanging lower on the door I get a rattle. If I move them up to the top near the C-pillar, it goes away.

Noticed that as well. Buckling them when not in use is an easy fix too. I did some more investigation after my earlier post... sure enough, it was the 3rd row headrests. Seems like a poor design. I wedged a cloth between the bottom of the headrest and the top of the seat which solved it.

The seatbelts rattled on mine and I put fuzzy adhesive velcro on the plastic and it stopped.

The real issue was the second row headrests. They are being replaced under warranty. Parts just came in but need to make an appointment now.

Interesting you say that about the second row headrests. I noticed that my rear passenger side one in particular has a lot of play in it and makes some noise over bumps. When I fold the headrest down, no problem. I will have the dealership look at it next time I am there.
