Recirculation not working
2017 D5 Si6
when I turn on the climate control recirculation button it t lights but only stays lit for less than a minute.
With ignition on and engine off I can faintly hear an actuator motor moving the flapper I think. I will try to observe with cabin air filter removed.
Any ideas?

When I change my cabin filter and turn on the re-circ to open the door to see the filter, my 2017 wants to turn off re-circ by itself. I wonder if the "auto" climate control function were switched off, if it would make a difference.
Removed cabin filter and still only staying in recirculation mode only a couple minutes. Tried auto mode but that turns on fan to high and a/c and turns off auto mode when I turn off a/c or lower fan speed so that’s no help.
I don’t believe it has always done this. On a very hot day it’s nice to turn on recirculation for awhile. And on very cold days until engine is warm recirculation cuts down on the cold air coming in without having to turn off the whole system.
