Default RIGD UltraSwing

Anyone install a RIGD UltraSwing? It seems the DISCO5 tow hitch receiver has a backstop on the other end, which doesn’t allow room to align the hitch pin hole with the Ultrawedge.

A guy on Instagram @Dirtydiscovery has one on his D5. Never seemed to have any issues.

If you like it, and want to keep it. Get a 4" grinder and notch the Ultraswing out to fit. Won't affect anything structural.

It’s the UltraWedge that’s causing the issue. I’m thinking of just leaving the Ultrawedge out (since it’s meant to prevent wobbling and doesn’t provide any structural support) and get a anti-rattle hitch kit.

Grind the Ultrawedge to fit. It will still do it job.

I went ahead and removed the stopper, which I think was added to prevent hitting the spare (especially if you use a full-size). All is well again.

One more thing. The lug nuts that came with it is too small, at least to hold the Tuffant alloy wheels.
