Default Rocky Road Outfitters Sliders

Does anyone have experience with the Rocky Road outfitters Rock sliders? 15% off for Black Friday today

Have not seen any video reviews on the discovery. Specifically, I saw one on a Sequoia on the Rubicon where they bent into the door and did not want to back up the bend warranty apparently

Lucky8 sent me a great email about their Proud Rhino sliders too. They fully cover the underneath and mount directly to the frame using body mount bolts so they can hold an appropriate amount of weight.

Our Proud Rhino ones are also the only ones on the market spec'd and used by JLR North America as we built the 2019 TReK units for them and currently have built their TReK Defenders for the past 4 years using our Proud Rhino equipment.

The Lucky8 sliders are no joke. Not only do they have the step bar, but there's about 12" of armored protection inboard. They're big, heavy, and give us a lot of confidence.

I have the proud rhino for the lr3 and they are beyond stout. I also drove their project D5 and they told me to drag them over rocks on purpose to test them. They did not disappoint.

Amen to that! Each side of the Lucky8 Proud Rhinos weighs over 100 lbs. and they're so stout that the slider takes the place of the lift points when jacking up either side of the vehicle with either a floor jack (use a urethane pad to avoid scratching the bottom of the slider) or a Hi-Lift jack (get a rock slider adapter [
Amazon Amazon
for use with a Hi-Lift jack).
