Default Routing exterior roofrack wiring into rear?

I have a WeBoost that I need to route the antenna cable from the roof rack into the rear cargo area where the WeBoost power unit/amp is located.

The cable is just thick enough that it doesn't easily fit through the upper part of the lift gate without being slightly crimped or squeaking against the plastic upper fairing. Would love to see any solutions people have who have routed cabling from up to, outside to inside.

Thanks!

Did something a looooooooooong time ago on an Acura Integra to have satellite radio (wasn't kidding when I said a long time) that worked, but it is kind of butchery, so use at your own risk. I pulled off the rubber seal for the tailgate and ground out a notch in the metal that it grips onto in a spot just big enough for the cable for the antenna to fit in, then reinstalled the rubber seal. I wrapped the cable in a split piece of hose to protect it from the metal. The cable was secured, not crushed, and no water ingress because it was under the seal.
