So the Launch is $312 and the DoIP is roughly $877. I do have a diesel, and the tip @lltt provided does work to reset the oil life, but it doesn't reset the overall service reminder, so I'm interested in a tool that'll reset all the service reminders. For at-home maintenance it looks like the Launch will do everything I need, and the DoIP is overkill?

 

DoIP is definitely overkill for for a home DIY. I like it since I can reset the diesel oil service indicator separately from the vehicle service indicator.

 

Will the Launch allow you to force DEF regen?
