So here is why after owning (4) Land Rovers I don't think I will ever own one again.

It used to be that vehicles were advertised as to their capabilities, performance, etc. Now I've seen advertisements that don't even mention the vehicle attributes except their connectivity (wifi or CarPlay or whatever). I think that's a sad commentary on what people are buying their vehicles for. I guess it's evolving to what vehicles will drive themselves while the passenger stares at their phone. Maybe there wouldn't be such long lag times when the traffic light turns green if people weren't on their phone until the person behind them honks at them. Maybe there would be less accidents too. (I know, nobody here drives while on their phone).
I really feel that insurance companies ought to subpoena phone records after an accident and if an insured was on their phone their claim wouldn't be covered (but their liability to others would be covered). The time stamp on their phone records could be match to the timestamp on their black box. All they have to do is put that in the contract for insurance and you agree to it or don't get insured.
Now, we have people complaining about their car being the worst ever because it won't talk nicely to their phone. I can imagine displeasure because of this but come on, if you want connectivity buy a Toyota or Honda or some brand where connectivity is the most important thing. If you are stuck in snow or mud, then maybe you can call for help.
Don't bother getting all defensive about my opinion, it's mine and I'm allowed to express it. I won't respond if you don't like it.

This is the one that caught my eye . . . been nice to have some gnarly offroad tires on it instead of 21" streets but you figure if it can do this on street tires . . .
Now, I wanted to buy the SVX with a TD6 but . . . I cannot ever buy what I want. Just try to get close . . .
Our 19 with the TD6 and Yoko G015s is the closest I could find this round . . . We're pretty happy [so far]
