Current status. Love dealer question all the bugs
  1. 2nd row fixed. But somehow left seat in the third row will not stay open. It will come up a few times and go back down, 100% of the time activated.
  2. Airbag light on dash and passenger light airbag notice will not turn on in center console.
  3. I installed a radar detector power plug in the roof center console. When taking out the black plate near the sunroof switched I noticed it would support a sunglass holder. I even found this part 045M28 BIN - SUNGLASSES HOLDER. Any idea why this was not added at the factory?
Thanks again for all the feedback and suggestions!

This is one special D5... Yes, there is a sunglass holder in the roof center console and as far as I know that is standard to every trim of D5 (it's also standard to every JLR vehicle that I have ever gotten into). I looked quickly at the online configurator and it isn't mentioned as a standard feature or as an option (my guess is because it is something so basic that it doesn't require mention, though they do mention "Glovebox storage" and "Headrests for all occupants" which I would also consider pretty basic for a $60k car...). Can someone with a 2021 model confirm if they have the sunglass holder in their car?

On 2 above - Airbag light. That was my bad - in wiring it. My dealer pointed out my mistake. These folks are good!!

Got the Stealth Hitch installed thanks to this forum. Looks great.

Othe minor issues:
- Cameras sometimes(once on front and rear) go gray with no video
- Hold function is confusing. You unbuckle, top-line says park in the center instrument cluster, but transmission shows D.
- When the sun is strong the air vents near the front doors reflect into the side rear view mirrors. These should have been black.
- I am still waiting to hear if I can add set functions to the center touch screen.

i don’t have an overhead sunglasses holder in my Discovery either. Just a shiny piece of black plastic. I thought it strange. I have a feeling they figured you’d use the compartment behind the head unit.

  2. Intelligent seat fold gets you:
    • Button in the boot for all down
    • Head unit control of seats
    • Mobile app control of seats
  3. Manual is incorrect on buttons in boot
    • Third-row simple press brings the seat up or down
    • Second row, need to hold the button for down, simple press for up

yeah, electric folding seats and intelligent seat fold are separate options. I made sure I had both. No option to fold the seats from the Remote App. Might be a European vs America thing. All I can do is start the engine and lock the doors. And locate the vehicle in case I forget where I parked.

have you tried downloading the older version of the remote app? that version (quirky interface and all) still has the remote fold option. the new (clean, modern style) app does not, for some reason.

I have a 2021 and had a few issues. I made a profile and then one day it was magically gone, I assumed it was software update? No matter since we have other cars I am only driver, will just keep generic profile. I had a MAJOR issue with my radio making crackles/pops on all frequency and sources. After 2 visits totaling a month (had to go back and forth with lr slowing everything down)... they replaced the amp control until (no change), took out seats to check connectors, and finally found the issue - the software on the amp was improper and was causing it to run to hot which then overloaded the amp. Not sure if that is the real deal or not, but I just drove it 1w straight on a 1500mile road trip and it didn't have the issue. Overall impressed with this disco as far as how it drives. The airsuspension or chasis seems more refined than my 2017 RR which I had from new and always thought was a little sloppy.

Also , with the seats... don't think this is your problem but 2nd row wont work if rear child lock is on. This was causing me much angst until I figured that out. I have never tried to move seats through the ap or home screen , so not sure about that. I remember that being an option I didn't tick (another electronic thing that won't work)
