I ordered some Hengst E863H D360 oil filters from RockAuto, as per their online catalog it fits the Td6 and it's the only one I've found that that has synthetic filter media. However, they definitely don't fit—they seem to be correct for the Si engine.
Has anyone found an oil filter with synthetic media?
Otherwise, it seems the Hengst E832H D317 may be the best option?
Mmmm, I don't think so. Synthetic media is typically blue or white, whereas the Mann is yellow which is indicative of cellulose. Also, that price isn't consistent with the cost of synthetic filters.

Synthetic Oil Application. Premium filter recommended
Sorry about that, it states "Synthetic Oil Application"........never had an issue with MANN

2017 D5 TD6 62K only ran MANN filters MOTORCRAFTXO5W30QFA(Heavy Duty / Diesel) Full Synthetic Diesel; SAE 5W-30 (Ford engine, Ford Oil)
The MANN filters are the same as JLR part filters; both made in Czech Republic at the same factory. The JLR one just has an additional JLR logo and p/n on it, but it's still the same MANN filter with a MANN logo on it, though. A Ford MOTORCRAFT FL2081 is supposedly identical and made in Czech Republic without a MANN logo, but it's probably the same filter likely made in the same place.
