I got my first glow plug CEL code today. I should've taken a screenshot in my GAP tool, but it was something like, Cyl 3 glow plug voltage out of range, or similar. Has anyone had to replace glow plugs on the TDV6 3L diesel?

 

This code is interesting. P06BB-1E - Resistance is out of range, but it's not too bad. Let's set the light on anyway.

Yep. I'm looking into it. #3 and #6 are the hardest ones to get to and require removal of the oil separator from what I can tell so far.

 

I got the same error message. luckily on glow plug 6

so cleaning the connectors might fix the issue? I will try that first.

@Chucktasti pls keep us posted how you fixed the issue.

 

Well... for now the issue is resolved by the weather warming up and no longer requiring the glow plugs to light up to start. CEL is gone and I don't see the orange coil indicator on startup in the driver display. It'll be on my to-do list this summer.
