Default Throttle booster / Sprint Booster ?

New to Discovery. Picked up a 2018 for the wife in Dec. She likes it but it's getting horrible gas mileage (11-13) and the throttle response seems **** poor.
I have already read the threads here about it being a known issue and we haven't taken in yet. But I wanted to see if anyone has found a vendor that sells a throttle booster type device by chance?
We test drove a 17 before buying the 18. We didn't even bother test driving the one we bought because we figured it was the same. Big mistake. Would have never bought it knowing these two deal breakers.
To be fair, it is awesome in every other way so far. Nice and quiet, very comfy, lots of great tech. And the surround camera is the best I've ever used. My wife now parks 1 inch from my motorcycle leaving us plenty of spare room in the garage. The closest she would ever get with her e-class was like 10 inches.

The guys in Oz love the pedal box. Here is the link, although it does not show our motors, supposedly if you call they can sort you out.

We have an 18' Si6, average 20MPG, and get 24 MPG on long trips. Sounds like you got something going on, Im guessing its and Si6 by your mileage.

I did a quick search actually and found a similar device just now.

They actually specifically call out the model/year but $299 is a bit steep for it. I like the bluetooth mode selector though .. I might get it and see.

Yes, ours is a Si6 and I agree. The mpg is **** so there might be an issue.
Wife definitely does NOT have a lead foot.

Agree with abran that something doesn't seem right. Our Si6 averages around 16-17 MPG, do a lot of city/commute and get 19-22 MPG for longer freeway trips (still breaking in as it just crossed 2000 miles).

The throttle response or lag issue with the Si6 is just when you slow down to an almost complete stop and then try to accelerate again. Normally at less than 8 MPH on ours. In normal driving and on the freeway the throttle response is great.

I am getting about 17 when it's warm out and now in the cold 16.5 mpg. I don't drive fast....but not slow either. Sadly...the prior vehicle was a 15 Yukon Denali with the 6.2 liter V8 and I was getting around 19....Go figure.
