Please specify whether you have a rear electronic diff. I pulled the fuse for that and the thumping is completely gone.
theres a service bulletin for this issue which calls for flushing the rear diff with two oil changes. Allegedly the oil becomes contaminated with clutch material.

My dealership has been 'unable to duplicate' and state they do not see any service bulletin. It happens when I back out of my garage almost every time. If anyone can direct me to the bulletin or provide the number it would be very much appreciated.
