Anyone have success running these with no lift or modifications? I will be using a 20x8.5 RRS wheel. Have searched the forums and have only seen ppl running the 255. Thx.

 

They're only 3/4 inch wider and a little over 3/4 taller. It will throw your speedo off by about 2mph at 60. But I don't think handling would be too bad. If you went with a 275-50 the speedo error nearly goes away and leave you basically at stick height. I've got the 255 Toyos and agree I would like to have a wider tire.

 

Thanks. Not too concerned about the speedo or height. Just if they fit without rubbing.

 

I doubt 3/8 inch on each side would rub. If you went out to 315s you would probably have issues. My tires are already way in from the fender wells. I know some folks are running spacers wider than that and are not rubbing.
