Water Leaking Into My 2018 Discovery
So to be honest the irony of this is getting to be to much. Just because he disagrees with your point doesn’t mean his point is any less valid than yours. You however are preaching exactly how you think people should respond, feel and lash out. You are questioning their motives implying there is something in it for them or that they don’t care about money, families or own life. Than telling others not to have an opinion on the matter is ludicrous.
Defects happen in every vehicle that is why there is a warranty. Take it to the Land Rover dealer you purchased it from and have them make repairs. Don’t like that dealership? No problem I see there are multiple options in your country try a different team to see if they address your problems more effectively.
Or trade it in on a Land Cruiser
We purchased a 2020 about a month ago and do not have this problem. It has been washed a few times already with no issues and was tested further on Thanksgiving. My wife and I drove up to visit my Mom which is about 2 hours away. On the drive home it rained heavily almost the entire time and the Disco did amazing! No leaks and handled the weather really well. I'm very happy with mine and can understand the frustrations of others.
To Novy - I disagree with your synopsis here. This is why cars have warranty. They can have issues or develop issues. The manufacturer is backing the product and agreeing to fix it
From what I've seen on here, when someone says the windscreen is leaking the dealer seems to be immediately ordering the replacement and installing it all for free. Then problem solved and it doesn't leak again
As for impacting used car prices - that's certainly not the case here. So many cars get stone chips or cracks and replacement windscreens that I can't see anyone caring if it has been replaced as long as done properly
I can't believe they would knowingly sell cars with leaky windscreens as they would certainly have to fix them.

One thing is for sure. A leak windshield in a new car with 900km is not normal. Telling anyone that this is not a problem and the warranty solves it is a mere lie. This is a serious defect that qualifies either for a price reduction or for extending the warranty and covering the cost of all inspections during its lifetime. And yes, IMHO should behave the manufacturer. Without unnecessary discussions. Amen

The service claims that under the influence of heating the glass (temperature), the adhesive used is unsealing .....
In addition, the windshield even leaks over time without heating. The leak may be invisible at the very beginning. I suggest checking with the method of water with washing-up liquid from the outside, for connecting the roof with the glass, and compressed air from the inside for connecting the upholstery with the glass. If bubbles appear outside, the matter is clear .... Because if the leak is invisible, it will slowly destroy the car.

It's not irony. This is pure truth. If this type of case will be underestimated (only repair), then such a group will never respect customers. They must remember that thanks to us they exist, live and function. Errors happen to everyone, BMW, Volvo, Toyota etc., but you must be able to admit the mistake and apologize to the customer, giving him an extended warranty and free inspections until the end of their product use. It is not a great cost for such moral harm.
The company's policy (if it doesn't need to react properly) and the seller are to blame. I think there is no better in its class. Even the BMW X5 does not match him

It is not true that there are very few users with this problem. Even in this forum you can see that they are increasing. And my problems may be a warning to other buyers who should order from JLR that their new car is free from this defect before buying. Any potential buyer or injured party should read this thread and decide for themselves. You have no right to hide it.

Novy, I think there are different issues. For me, I've had 3 drops of water on the inside of my windshield after pressure washing the D5 - and Land Rover will replace my windshield for me to fix it. That is not as serious an issue as someone who has a flooded interior or damaged electrical or other serious leak. Maybe if I had a serious leak or damage I'd feel differently, but that's not my situation.
