No, he was dishonest. He said that the vehicle is in perfect condition and have never overheated. He said he needed the money for an emergency that’s why it was so cheap. I knew nothing about a leak before buying the vehicle….

Hopefully it was cheap enough that you can recoup most of your cost.

To answer your question, The cost to fix these issues will depend on how much of this work you do yourself.

Clearly you need a head gasket and some cooling system parts...

The red fluid could also be your antifreeze, I'd guess the PO had Dexcool in it.

Using a shop the above work would be $2000 - $2500

That's just the starting place... But you got nothing until this is done first... Once you are not overheating you can deal with all the other issues or read all about them here and learn on your own vehicle... Which is a great way to go btw.

Out of curiosity l have to ask...where are you located? The frost on the roof, christmas lights in the background, no leaves on the trees...has got me confused about the time frame of this picture.

The owner told me to top up with water when it goes down... The coolant hose not good either. Oil and a reddish liquid also leak
