Default Bit the Bullet

Hello everyone,I finally bit the bullet today and got an 04 Disco. Pretty nice truck. After 10 years of my Jeep I went and bought what I've been admiring for years! I have loved to drive my grandfathers Defenders and Disco's since the early nintey's, so finally I bought what I beleive to be a sweet deal. After frequently trolling the forums for what seems like forever I think the first item on the list is some new wheels, looking forward to is some new wheels. Glad the forum is here, and I'm happy to be a new member!

No major plans as far as mods go or anything yet. I'm just begining to get to know the vehicle, and so far I'm enjoying my purchase. I've done some light offroading outside of Albuquerque. In a couple of weeks I think I'll head out on an expedition though. I'm not sure exactly what I can and can not do to the truck that could potentally jeopardize the warranty. I still have 25,000 miles or slightly less than two years before the factory warranty is up. I guess this beast was one of the last ones out of the assembly line before they started to look like a cartoon auto. Either that, or it sat at the dealer a long time. I would guess that I can put some 16" wheels on without any warranty hassles. As soon as the warranty is up I'll lift it 3" or so. It's a great truck and fun as can be to ride around on some trails.
