Hello all!
I am not a Rover owner yet but have been doing my research and trying to pick out a used Disco for myself. Thanks for letting me pick your brains.
Currently drive a F250 but I am downsizing as soon as I sell my boat.

Look in the tech section of the Discovery 1 portion of the forum, things to consider when buying a Disco (covers 1 and 2), also description of variations of D1 and D2.
Use www.statewidelist.com to search for rovers in your state, sorted by city; indexes craigslist.
There are units on this site from time to time.
Keep the F250, you'll need a backup vehicle to go fetch parts. Paid $400 for mine at government auction, needed a coolant temp sensor (high wild idle) and AC compressor.
