Exclamation discovery problems

My discovery has a problem whereby it just stops suddenly and will not restart . I wait say 10 minutes and then it will start , sometimes I have to wait longer . Now after topping up the oil it will not start at all . Any ideas anybody . The vehicle is in France and I am English so getting help is a problem with the language barrier etc .

Next time you should post this under the discovery section along with the year, model, and mileage. More than likely what you are describing is your crank position sensor. When they start failing the vehicle will die once it is warmmed up and won't start again untill the vehicle has cooled off. This is a inexpensive fix so I would start with that. If you have any more questions use the discovery section. Good luck.
