Hey guys and gals

Well we have been a Rover Lover for a long time but always ended with Jeep's. So after my brother purchased a 2005 LR3, and the wife and I borrowed it for a summer trip it was time for our own. We decided on a 1999 D2 which we got for $1500 with engine trouble (milkshake oil) which saved us heeps of cash and I being a mechanic saving even more on engine rebuilding.
Well enough on the hello and back to work.

Welcome. Shop manuals at link below. Use you scanner to see real temps, the dash gauge is programmed to point at 50%.

You should also onsider rebuild / replace front prop shaft, the sealed joints dry out and snap, smacking transmission, and sometimes the drive shaft wins.
