Default Hi Everyone - Newbie here!

Hi everyone! I have been thinking about buying a Disco for a while now and have been reading over many posts here. Some kind of scare me off the idea. What should I look for when I go to buy one? What are the features you like the best? Any positives - I see a lot of issues. Thanks for your input!!

Almost forgot - I would be looking at early 2000s. That might help, right?

If you look at the sections that are model specific (Disco I, II, RR) there are articles about buying that particular model, here's a link to the discussion about Disco II's https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...scovery-21328/

If you have a lot of extra cash, you can pay the dealer to work on it for you. If you have moderate extra cash you can pay an indy shop to work on it for you. If buying it because it was cheap, you'll have to do your own work to stay cheap. No too difficult, but some don't like tinkering. Others find it an enjoyable hobby. There is most likely a formula somewhere of hours off road to hours under the hood.....
