Just bought a Disco
Just got a 95 Disco for the wife. It has 172 on the clock so Ive gone ahead and purchased a full gasket set as well as new turbular front shock towers with 2" drop, heavy duty tower rings, new shocks all around, 2" drop rear shock mounts, 2" lift spring spacers, heavy duty spring anchors, new oil cooler hoses, new power steering hoses, and a new timing chain. There will be much more to follow.
I plan to renew the entire steering system, clean up the interior and get some wood in there, install a decent stereo system, upgrade the braking system, and maybe some exterior trailgoing accessories if the old lady decides she likes wheeling as much as I do.
Im doing the upgrades slowly over the course of a few months as I am on a budget and also an automotive tech that doesnt want to work when I get home from work! So can anyone suggest any places to get well priced Rover parts? I've ordered from Atlantic and roversnorth.com. Roversnorth seem to have some good deals, but it doesnt hurt to have all the resources you can.
Thanks in advance for all the help, and I'll do my best to document my repairs and upgrades so they may be referenced if needed.

Contact Paul Grant who posts on the forum frequently, he is in CT and dismantles Rovers (over 400 so far I think). Please download the RAVE, the factory set of shop, electrical, body, and owner manuals. Our tech area has lots of DIY projects and some alternate parts sources.
