Talking Just bought my first Rover...and im pumped!

Hey everyone. I just bought my first rover today. It is a 1995 RRC, LWB. White, 4.2 v8 with 135K miles. It is almost 100% rust free and really in great condition. I've heard that these are pretty rare to find in such good condition, is that true? I'm looking forward to doing all the maintenance this weekend; I have a long list! After I drive it for 4-5K miles, I plan on doing a 2.5 inch lift and 32s or 33s. I'll probably add some flares, a front bumper, full basket and other odds and ends. This will be used mostly for camping, fishing and the occasional trail ride. Great site!

Welcome.

It will take more than one weekend.

The RAVE is the set of factory shop manuals, free download links below.

Radiator may have calcium build up inside, test by feeling or measuring the fins top to bottom, in a vertical line. If the lower rows are clogged up, you'll have over 10F difference in temp. About $75 or so for an indy shop to unsolder a side tank and rod it out. Radiator is like $700 for a copper and brass one. A 180F thermostat is a nice $10 upgrade.
