Hi my name is alant1206 I'm 70 years old retired HGV driver and I purchased my first Land Rover an 08 plate Discovery 3 in Nov 2017. So far its proved to be the best and worst car I have ever owned. Great when its going well and worst when it keeps throwing up faults on the dashboard message center which scare me to death. So farr I've had Transmission Fault Traction Reduced, HDC system fault. Suspension Lowering special programs not available and others I can not remember. its been in to my local Independent Land Rover Specialist 3 times who is telling me the OBDII codes relate to a Transfer Case ECU which is loosing power but he can not track down why but i'm going to stick with it because I think there is a great car in there somewhere.
PS my wife now refuses to drive it.
