My 2008 Land Rover LR2's muffler needed to be replaced because it was rusted and holey and my truck was noisy when I started it. I spent about $150 on the muffler, which I had my mechanic friend weld onto the vehicle. Everything was great for about six months before it started to be loud again, and when I looked, the new muffler already had a 6x6 inch hole in it. I therefore tried every possible temporary fix to patch a muffler, but nothing worked. I've tried Tiger Patch/tape, JB Weld, and an aluminum sheet. How could this have happened to a brand-new muffler so quickly? Is my exhaust clogged? Please, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! THIS IS NOT MY NEW MUFFLER! This is my old muffler, which clearly needed to be replaced😑😳🤦♀️
