My first Land Rover
I have been a fan of the looks for a long time but have always loved my Toyotas (have owned '89 and '93 Land Cruisers and 2003 Lexus LX470).
Just bought a 2008 LR3 with 100k miles. Grey with black leather interior and loaded. Purchased from a used car dealer in West Chester, PA. I am from Annapolis, MD.
Dealer was great and made some repairs under warranty: fixed leaking transmission sleeve, found and fixed short causing fog lamp fuse to blow, replaced unit for front seat heater, cleared computer and adjusted idle (it was revving), and fixed the sound on the rear DVD system.
I am looking forward to tomorrow's snow to see how the vehicle does. My 1989 Landcruiser was unstoppable in the snow!
I am having some issues with the transmission in the cold. Lots of errors messages and limited gears available. Goes away after warm up then a short drive and restart. I'll post under a new thread shortly.
