I am new to the forum. I bought my 2002 Freelander about a year ago. I have been checking out the forum for a few weeks, looks like a lot of help.

 

Glad you are here, post early and often. Your vehicle is known for electrical related gremlins, many times related to a battery just a little weak. Suggest you change batteries more frequently than you may have with past vehicles.

In the free tech manual set below, called the RAVE, you will find complete shop, electrical, owners, and related manuals for the Freelander.

Best advice to owners is weekly fluids check, and change oil more frequently than the manual suggests.
