New guy here w/ a Freelander
Hey folks, my name is Scott and I just signed up for the forums here. I'll be looking for information on my new daily driver, which is a 2003 Freelander SE3. Just got it this afternoon, and so far I love it. It's a far cry from what I am used to driving, but so far I'm happy with my decision.
Anyway, a little bit about me.
I traded in my beloved 2002 Honda S2000 for the Freelander. I've been active in SCCA and other various forms of autocross and road racing for about 6 years now. The Land Rover might not seem like a logical choice for me, but part of my 5 year plan involves wedding bells and possibly some offspring running around, and the Honda just doesn't mesh well with those ideas. Besides, by trading in the Honda, I'll save over $200/month between my car payment and car insurance. This is actually my first SUV, and I think I was initiated into this world with a good start. So, I look forward to learning all I can from you ladies and gentlemen in the future, and hope I can one day help someone here in some way.
Here's some pics.

Yes, I'm going to miss the Honda. It's a huge leap from a tiny 2-seat roadster to a big (to me anyway) SUV. But looking at the long-term, this was the right decision to make. Besides, I shouldn't be without a sports car for too long...
