New Member ~ Evoque Owner
Hello Everyone! I'm Sherr, I live in Southeast Missouri, USA. I recently acquired a 2016 Range Rover Evoque and have a Chevy Truck that is nearing "Classic" status. I have had my Evoque for 5 months and just replaced it's main battery yesterday, once I noticed the battery was no longer staying fully charged. At the Auto Tech. Shop as I started the Evoque I encountered a "SOS System Alert" that scared me to no end. I immediately went back into the shop and told the staff to discover that it's an auxiliary battery issue that arises. This business did not keep the part on hand, and when they told me it would cost twice what I'd just spent on the main battery and installation, I was temporarily relieved I'd not have to spend upwards of $1000 on batteries in a single day.
Looks like I'll be having this auxiliary battery that resembles two double "AA" batteries taped together installed the first of next week. I have thoroughly enjoyed my RR and know that maintenance is expected! Sherr
