So I've been lurking around here for a while now while researching in preparation for purchasing my first Land Rover. I finally took the jump and bought a 1996 Land Rover Discovery SE7 last week.

It's got 120k miles, a 2" suspension lift, 275/70R16s, and I just got my brush guard put on today. Next up is the roof rack and a few other odds and ends to get fixed.

I'm not the best mechanically, but I'm looking forward to learning. The rear windows won't roll down, so that's first up on the fix it list.

Anyway, there's a lot of great information I've come across here and I'd like to thank everyone here for all the info on here!

Here it is (pic from the online ad, I'll be taking some of my own tomorrow) imgur: the simple image sharer

Welcome. Download the RAVE shop manual. Go thru our tech area high miles service list. Learn to love Rotella. Rear windoes can be as simple as busted wire on center consol disable switch (if equipped) or crack on circuit board for window ECU behind glove box.
