Cool newbee

Hi I'm looking to buy a 01 disco series 2 its very clean 1 owner and has 110k.I'm not a machanic but have done my fair share of renching on cars and suvs.like I said this disco is very clean sound shifts and drives solid if I can just get some more advice on any particular issues that I should be looking for I would be greatfule thanks.....

borrow or rent an OBDII scanner and plug in to check for stored codes and burned out check engine light. Scanner is even better as it will show temps. Above 50% on heat gauge is hot to trot.

No ticking sound when warmed up, no sludge or mayonaise on inside of oil cap or coolant cap.

Enjoy the frustration and joy that comes with owning a classic British vehicle and dont forget to download a copy of the RAVE, work shop manual.
