Hello gang,

I'm a 70's/80's kid in my 30's now and love Disco....hahaha, ok I just recently purchased a pre-owned Disco I - 50th Anniversary Edition here in Canada and I love it!

Just wanted to talk to others and learn how much of a money pit this thing is gonna cost me and more so, where do I start to get this gas-guzzlin pig to get a little better fuel mileage?

Hey squid (if you're a fellow Navy type). welcome to the forum. i'm new too.
the best way to save gas in a LR from what I've heard is to keep it shut off.
Good luck w/ the Disco. I'm sure some folks like discoMike have some good tips for getting the best possible mileage.

 

Thanks Mark... your right in not driving it but its my winter ride for this year, and have no choice but to fix somethings on it as the previous owner did every conconcievable repair and the vehicle is absolutely MINTY except for the crapola gas mileage, and not that I care but I do somewhat, and the HUGE GEYSER that springs from the PS box and the copius amount of leaks this peace-of-sh#$ has.....I LOVE IT!
