Hello all! I've been in love with discos since they came out and have my eye on one for sale in my area. It's a 2004 g4 challenege edition. Lifted 2 inches, over size tires and a bunch of other goodies. Only 63k miles on it. For 12k. But before I go get rid if my beloved pickup for it I wanted to get aquainted with the Rover community. I've read disco mikes 60k mileage post but if anyone has any relevant thoughts for me before I buy it I would be grateful for any and all input! Thanks!

I just joined the Land Rover Family - Purchased a used 1994 Disco - 95k -
I've been doing a lot of reading on these rigs and thought I'd let you know about the site I stumbled on that shows a LOT of complaints from ConsumerAffairs - Most of which seem to be specific to the 2K versions of the Land Rovers -

It might be helpful to look at - That way you can check out whether the problems exist on the one you looking at purchasing..
