Hello, ive been converted, ive always been a vauxhall man, but have finaly bought my dream car a range rover disco 1, ive spent years on a Vauxhall forum, so know the best bods to speak to with the best solutions is always the
Guys n Dolls on a forum, so here goes, this is my delema. I bought a disco 1 yesterday, checked every thing thought it all looked and appeared well, test drive went well. I drove it home, smooth drive home no issues until a felt the heat on the gear selector as I moved it into park it was very Hot, is this normal
wouldnt think so but if so you would know, if its an issue any idea what it would be please. Thank you

maybe possible that console has previously been removed, for work. and plate, insulation not all replaced and sealed properly.

If ground for something near transmission is broken, the current feeds through the ebrake handle. Had not heard about gear selector. The RAVE is the factory shop and electrical manual set, free download below.
