Default Willing to learn

Hello, I just purchased a 1989 Range Rover with issues. I live in rural New Mexico so a handy dealer is out of the question and I have severely limited mechanical skills. I am, however, willing to learn and you'll be hearing from me with various problems as they emerge. Regardless of my new steed's current condition I am already smitten, so I hope to be a nuisance for some time to come. Non-Mech

Welcome to the group.
Getting any snow down your way yet, cold as hell here in Denver.

Download the RAVE set of manuals, same thing the shop mechanics have, and very few of them have more than ten fingers. With help of this forum, and some on line parts sorces and a few dismantlers (used parts specalists) you'll do fine. Start with small projects, like changing the oil, and work up.
